 Two
festivals are being had simultaniasely, but both are
the Summerfest. One of them is a line of glorious beautiful
performances, the other is hidden from the eyes of the
audience and the other is maybe the true festival. Two
tousand people saw the Opening Ceremony live, and through
the Internet-television broadcast it's impossible to
estimate how many people saw this program. Then again
few people saw what happened in the sportcenter durring
the Opening Ceremony and behind the scenes of the Dancepanoramas.
Those nations who appear one by one are all together
durring this time. Many of them after introducing themselves
started to dance and sing for their own fun others were
practising dance steps nervously. Behind the glamour
of the stage this is the real place of the festival
where the "internationals" make friendships
and not rarely even loves.

Anyone, who welcomes guests or
makes friends for the time of the Summerfest deffinitely
tries to show our city to the ones from abroad. Where
is it worth taking our guests? What is it that we could
be proud of and what could be interesting for them?
First of all the Matrica Museum where you can see the
constant exhibits about interesting historical items
found from the diggings in Százhalombatta. Another sight
worth seeing is the archeological park, the reopened
comon cemetary is a speciality which can only be seen
here. Within the cemetary besides the memorical items
there is media program here so we don't need a translator
because we can choose languages.
At Dunafüred next to the southern bank it is worth seeing
the roman spa, adding that the Matrica was an important
soldier base this is where the roman street was which
goes from Százhalombatta to Érd though the hills and
there is a part of it which is still in it's original
state. True, it is not used for traveling, because the
quality of it has decreased since the romans built it.
Next to the past of the city we have to introduce the
present of it too: much can be seen in the city's shopping
center, the doctor center, nursery schools and the elementary
schools, furthermore the rentflats, which are being
built now. We can take a stroll with our guests to one
of the parks in Százhalombatta, since these are very
nice to see.
We shouldn't forget about our city's important energy
centrum and although we can't visit the factory, it
can be seen perfectly from the outside.
We also often forget our natural gifts although we can
take nice strolls next to the Danube-river, which is
at the moment comming out of it's bank. This is why
it's safer to look at it from a safe distance.
If we have enough time we can introduce our own gastronomie
to our guests but we don't have to take the risk, we
can give this task to a professional cook. This is an
easy solution because the restaurants in Százhalombatta
are reliable, cook good and the prices is right also.
We only have a hard time if we would like to surprise
our guests with a present that reminds them about Százhalombatta.
At the moment there is no variety concerning these items.
We hope thet in the future Festivals this problem will
no longer be actuall.
